DESCRIPTION: UAE University in Al Ain with cooperation with NASA decided to establish a space center at UAE University Campus. The building is designed as G+RF and will contain offices, laboratories, and conference/Meeting rooms with a total GFA of 2,052 sqm. ECOBUILD worked with the involved sector in the design stages to maintain all Pearl Two Estidama criteria. Important interventions considered include efficient systems design; reducing energy consumption and specifying more environmental friendly; products and supporting technologies.
